more about jessica

Jessica founded The Green Dietitian back in 2014 whilst completing her Masters degree in nutrition. She had recently transitioned to a plant-based diet for health reasons and was excited about sharing the benefits of this lifestyle with others. At the time, she was one of the only Dietitians in the country supporting vegans and vegetarians and soon became a household name due to her social media presence and approachable yet inspiring nutrition philosophy.

Nowadays, Jessica is a mom to 2 young kids who have given her a newfound appreciation for fuss-free nutrition advice. She also loves hiking, nature and traveling. She sometimes shares her life on social media but often prefers to stay present and forgets to take her phone out.

She is still active in practice and loves helping people of all ages to thrive and tackle various chronic health conditions using plant-oriented diets.

Jessica is known for her genuine, down-to-earth and empathetic attitude. She often goes above and beyond to help her patients. She loves chatting all things science and nutrition and has a great sense of humour. During your consults with her, you might end up getting a crash course in biology, chatting about mutual love of travel, outdoors, pets or children or giggling at the realities of balancing a busy life and trying to make lifestyle changes.

more about NADIA

Nadia joined The Green Dietitian in 2022. She is a thoughtful and grounded dietitian who believes that nutrition should feel nourishing—not overwhelming. Her approach is gentle, inclusive, and rooted in real-life experience, blending science with compassion in every consultation.

Her interest in nutrition began in her teens amid a health-conscious upbringing. A gap year in the U.S. studying nutrition and counselling exposed her to diet culture and conflicting messages, prompting her to seek scientific clarity and pursue dietetics. That year, she discovered a plant-based diet, which aligned with her values and science. The ethics and benefits affirmed her choice, influencing both her lifestyle and her professional focus.

Nadia now works with clients in a deeply collaborative way. She believes working as a multidisciplinary team is essential and creates space for people to feel safe, understood, and supported. She brings a special sensitivity to neurodivergent individuals, those who feel at war with food or their bodies and plant-based eaters, guiding each person with care, curiosity and zero judgement.

Her consultations are practical and personal, and she’s known for her calm presence, listening ear, and subtle sense of humour.

When she's not working, you'll find her outdoors trail running, surfing, or climbing—activities that recharge her. She's passionate about helping others embrace joyful, sustainable movement that respects both themselves and the world.
