Before joining, please take a moment to read our group values and rules below and check whether these align with your values and expectations.

  • Our support groups are built on the principles of compassion, respect, evidence-based guidance, and inclusive support. These spaces are designed to be safe, welcoming, and constructive for all individuals on a health journey, whether you’re navigating pregnancy, parenting, chronic illness, weight management, intuitive eating, neurodivergence, or plant-based living.

We aim to empower each member with accurate, practical information that supports sustainable health outcomes across life stages and goals. Every member is valued, and all questions, regardless of background, lifestyle, or dietary preferences, are welcomed without judgement.

    1. Evidence-based, professionally led

All educational content is curated by two Registered Dietitians (DT0040738 and DT0058009) and grounded in the most current scientific consensus. Content may be supplemented by credible external experts or guest contributors, and always reflects best-practice guidelines from reputable health organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and local professional bodies. While personal experiences are welcome and encouraged, members are asked not to offer advice that contradicts evidence-based practice or may cause harm. The admins may step in to correct or remove content when needed to protect the integrity and safety of the group.

    2. Inclusive of all diets and backgrounds

Although some resources (particularly in our veggie-focused groups) may reflect a plant-based perspective, all dietary patterns are respected. You are welcome here whether you eat plant-based, omnivorous, flexitarian, or follow another approach entirely. There is no judgement about food choices. Members are encouraged to ask questions openly—whether about vegan protein, meat portions, infant formula, or cholesterol-friendly meal swaps.

    3. Body and food neutrality

We are committed to creating a non-judgemental space that honours all body sizes, identities, and relationships with food. We do not support restrictive diets, calorie counting, weight-stigmatising language, or assigning moral value to food or body size. Instead, we promote mindful eating, body respect, and the development of long-term, trusting relationships with food and health. All members are asked to use neutral, respectful language when discussing food, body image, eating habits, and health experiences.

    4. Supportive, non-judgemental communication

Every member deserves to feel heard and respected.
    We ask all participants to:

    • Honour others’ lived experiences

    • Avoid making assumptions or issuing unqualified advice

    • Be kind and supportive in all interactions

    • Refrain from shame, blame, or moralising language

    • Keep discussions confidential and protect members’ privacy

  • 1. No hate speech or bullying: Disrespectful comments relating to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, culture, or identity will not be tolerated. All members are expected to treat others with dignity and respect.

    2. Respect confidentiality: Do not share group discussions, images, or screenshots outside the group. The privacy of all members must be protected.

    3. No unsolicited medical or nutrition advice: Members must not offer direct medical or dietary recommendations to others. Sharing personal experiences is allowed, but offering advice (e.g. “You should take X” or “Avoid Y”) is not appropriate unless advice is explicitly requested and clearly evidence-based.

    4. Keep content relevant: Posts should relate to plant-based family nutrition, feeding, wellbeing, or aligned lifestyle topics. Content that is promotional, viral, or off-topic may be removed at the discretion of the admins.

    5. Follow scientific consensus: Members who repeatedly challenge evidence-based recommendations or dispute the professional guidance of the Registered Dietitians may be removed from the community.

    6. Respect plant-based values: Do not discourage plant-based or vegan diets. The registered dietitians will ensure that any harmful dietary patterns, practices or misinformation is flagged as such. Veganism is not one of them.

    7. No formula shaming: While breastfeeding is encouraged, this community does not tolerate judgement or criticism of formula feeding. All feeding journeys deserve respect.

    8. No food or body shaming: Do not use language that moralises food (e.g. “clean”, “bad”, “unhealthy”) or comment negatively on body size or shape. This includes both adults and children.

The admins reserve the right to remove and refund any member who fails to uphold these rules, disrespects group values, or engages in behaviour that disrupts the safety, privacy, or integrity of the group and community environment.
